Sign up, or refer someone you know

Whether you're a young person, parent/carer or a professional, anyone can make a referral using our online form. It takes around 10-15 minutes and is completely free!

Please note: Due to a high number of new referrals we are pausing the form for the rest of this term, it will reopen on 1st June. Thank you for your patience.

How our referral process works

  • Fill out our online referral form

    This is so we can get to know a bit about you, or the young person you are referring. Once we receive your referral we will respond within 10 working days.

  • Visit our space

    We will then be in touch to arrange a visit to our space to see if the young person feels happy here, and to answer any questions they or the family/referral partner may have.

  • Try a taster session

    When we have a suitable space on our creative programme they will be invited for a trial session. If they are happy we can then continue weekly from there in the term time.

What we offer

One to one art and music sessions

1:1 creative development sessions with our music or art lead, which are based around a young person’s interests.

Group sessions for visual art, music, or both

Weekly sessions for small groups of young people.

One to one creative therapies

8 sessions of art, music, play or occupational health therapy with a registered practitioner. Therapy referrals can be made through our referral form.

Drop ins for AEE alumni

Young people who have been attending for 2+ years and no longer attend weekly sessions can access time with our tutors and the Art and Music studio.

Self Directed Learning

Young people can access our studios and materials for their own use without a facilitator.

One off group projects

We sometimes run projects in collaboration with other local organisations, usually during school holidays. To see any upcoming projects please check our Instagram.
